Job Description
A four-star hotel in Knysna is seeking a Sales Executive to drive revenue across all segments including corporate, leisure, and government. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives on building relationships and generating business in a competitive market.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Source new business leads and secure new accounts across all market segments

Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and grow repeat business

Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the Knysna market
-
Attend industry events, networking sessions, and client meetings to represent the hotel
-
Conduct site inspections and prepare customised proposals for clients
-
Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with hotel policy
-
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and forecasts
-
Monitor local market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities
-
Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure flawless service delivery to clients
Requirements:
-
Minimum 23 years experience in hospitality sales, with a 4* or 5* hotel

Strong contact base across corporate, leisure, and government segments
-
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
-
Professional presentation and guest-oriented approach
-
Ability to work independently and meet targets
-
Own transport essential and willingness to travel locally
