About the Role
Join our team at a luxury safari lodge in Timbavati, Kruger National Park, where you’ll have the opportunity to lead immersive wilderness experiences that combine high-end comfort, natural beauty, and warm hospitality. As a Trails Guide or Field Guide, you’ll be responsible for providing exceptional game viewing experiences, leading walks, and ensuring the well-being of our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead guided walks in the reserve, providing expert knowledge of the flora and fauna
- Ensure the safety and well-being of guests during walks
- Provide exceptional customer service and hospitality to all guests
- Participate in training sessions to maintain and improve knowledge of the reserve’s ecosystem
Requirements
- Full trails qualification
- DEAT registered
- Valid first aid certificate
- Valid PrDP NQF 2 qualification (NQF 4 preferable)
- 2 years experience as a Trails Guide in a reserve where walks are frequently conducted

Salary & Benefits
- Trails Guide Salary: R10 000 – R13 000 per month
- Field Guide Salary: R9 000 – R11 000 per month
