About the Role
Exceed Human Resource Consultants is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team in Kuils River. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the debtors and creditors teams, reviewing payroll, and providing accurate management accounts to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day drive of the debtors and creditors teams
- Review of payroll
- Assist the financial director in reporting accurate and timeous management accounts
- Facilitate good communication between the finance team and internal and external parties
- Debtors management
- Ensure all monthly reporting deadlines are met
- Cash management
- Support the FD with several financial functions
- Review and submit all statutory returns and statistical information
- Ensuring compliance with various statutory regulations
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Professional Accountant (SA) / CIMA / AGA (SA)
- Post articles commerce experience in a manufacturing or consumer goods business environment
- Proven track record of implementing and improving systems of internal control and financial accounting
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.)
