About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a professional and experienced Camp Manager to join a luxury safari camp located in the Kalahari. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full operational management of the camp, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and efficient day-to-day functioning. This is a live-in position with a salary negotiable depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing all daily camp operations
- Managing guest relations and ensuring high service standards
- Leading, training, and supporting camp staff
- Handling lodge administration, stock control, and reporting
- Managing maintenance schedules and ensuring camp facilities are well maintained
- Coordinating with external suppliers and service providers
- Ensuring health, safety, and hygiene standards are upheld throughout the camp
Requirements
- Relevant experience in a similar camp management role (preferable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and train staff
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in lodge administration software and stock control systems
Qualifications
- Formal education in hospitality, tourism, or a related field (not specified)
