• Advanced certifications in security systems (advantage)
• Certified fibre optic technician (splicing & OTDR)
• Electrical fence installer certification (registered where required)
• Access control system certifications (e.g. Impro, Hikvision, Gallagher, etc)
• Network certifications (e.g. Cisco CCNA or equivalent
• Working heights & safety compliance
• 5+ years relevant industry experience
• Proven experience in Fibre splicing, testing, fault finding
• Electric fence installations & compliance
• Access control systems (biometric, card, integration)
• Boom gates and turnstile repairs & installations
• CCTV systems (IP- based)
• Project site leadership
• Technical skills
• Advanced networking (VLANs, IP routing, Network troubleshooting)
• Systems integration (Linking access control, CCTV, alarms)
• PSIRA registered
• GALAGHER certified
• Must be AVIGILON certified
