Job Summary
Hire Resolve is working with a reputable mining company that is currently seeking a Superintendent Rock Engineer to join their team. As a Superintendent Rock Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and stability of underground mining operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing rock support designs, conducting geological and geotechnical assessments, and providing technical support to the mining team.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement rock support systems for underground mining operations
- Conduct geological and geotechnical assessments to identify potential risks and hazards
- Provide technical guidance and support to the mining team
- Monitor and analyze ground conditions, and recommend appropriate actions
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize mine design and planning
- Train and mentor junior rock engineers
Requirements:
- Bachelor`s degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in rock engineering or geotechnical engineering within the mining industry
- Registered as a Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist
- Strong knowledge of rock mechanics principles and underground mining methods
- Experience with geotechnical software and modeling tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
