About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hospital Manager to join their healthcare team in Ballito, KZN. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strong strategic, professional and managerial leadership for all aspects of health service operations at the relevant Hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the hospital’s strategic operational plan.
- Participate in management teams and ensure good corporate governance.
- Build and maintain relationships with JMH Group executives and external stakeholders.
- Ensure efficient and fit-for-purpose clinical support services.
- Source and recruit new specialist doctors as needed.
- Identify and act on business growth and marketing opportunities.
- Lead branding and loyalty initiatives aligned with the JMH Group.
- Manage and forecast the hospital’s budget and ensure sound financial practices.
- Work with HR to foster inclusivity, transformation, and staff development.
- Oversee policy development and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Implement JMH Group policies, procedures, and facility management services.
- Ensure all capital projects meet compliance, strategic goals, and service standards.
- Promote a culture of professionalism and high standards among hospital staff.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership in a senior management role in healthcare.
- Minimum diploma or degree (NQF Level 7 or equivalent), preferably in business or health services management.
- Postgraduate qualification or MBA in a relevant field (preferred).
- Experience with clinical and/or corporate governance.
- Project management experience.
- Facilities and financial management skills.
Skills (Practical & Technical)
- In-depth knowledge of hospital policy and service delivery best practices.
- Extensive knowledge of the healthcare sector at a senior management level.
- Proven track record of service innovation and leadership.
- Strategic thinking and ability to motivate and lead professionals.
- Strong operational performance focus with ability to work independently and proactively.
