About the Role
Reinhardt Transport is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our team in Heidelberg. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify that transactions comply with financial policies, procedures, and statutory regulations
- Submission of statutory returns
- Maintenance of the accounting system
- Maintenance of AP master files on the accounting system
- Verify and submit approved AP Reconciliations timeously
- Review and capture payments of the company on Internet banking software
- Reconciliation of internal and external loan accounts and intercompany trading accounts
- Assist management in making financial decisions
- Capture, record, and maintain relevant company information accurately on the BEE platform
- Supervise employees
- Maintain an accurate filing and record-keeping system for all financial and company documents
- Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
- Bank statement allocations and bank reconciliations on accounting system
- Cash flow forecasts
- Perform accounting provisions
- Reconciliation of control accounts
- Assist in month-end closing
- Month-end reporting to the Group Deputy Chief Financial Officer and other Managers
- Review financial reports
- Compiling Annual budget at financial year-end
- Assisting auditors at financial year-end
Requirements
- Matric
- Relevant Tertiary qualification
- Minimum 5 years bookkeeping & 2 years management experience
- Intermediate/ Advanced Microsoft Excel essential
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Own Transport
