About the Role
The Limpopo Career Consortium (Limcaco) is seeking an experienced Section Engineer / Specialist (Electrical) to join our team in Lichtenburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation, with a proven track record of plant inspection, maintenance, and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct proper plant inspections
- Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical systems
- Utilize CMMS software (SAP) for plant maintenance and services management
- Apply AWMEAM Maintenance Work Processes
- Develop and implement AWMEAM Maintenance Planning and Scheduling
- Demonstrate knowledge of Process and Quality processes within the facility or factory
- Prepare technical reports
- Provide good technical support
Requirements
- Qualified Engineer with at least 10 Years post qualification Experience
- Qualified Artisan with a National diploma and at least 15 Years post qualification Experience
- Sufficient knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems in heavy industry
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.) are required for Engineer positions
- No formal education/certifications mentioned for Artisan positions
