Job Description
Core Criteria:
- Previous front-of-house or reception experience within a 4* (or similar) lodge environment
- Exceptional hosting and guest engagement skills (essential)
- Outgoing, professional, and approachable personality
- First Aid Level 1 (advantageous)
- Excellent communication skills
- Organisation and administrative capabilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver warm, professional, and memorable hosting experiences for all guests
- Act as a key point of contact for guest interactions, ensuring high service standards at all times
- Support front-of-house and reception functions as required
- Maintain a neat, professional appearance and uphold lodge presentation standards
Work Environment:
- Live-in position within a safari lodge environment
- Work cycle: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off
- Salary: R8,000 per month (negotiable for the right candidate)
- 14 days annual leave
- Provident fund after successful completion of 3-month probation
- Meals provided while hosting
- Uniform provided
