About the Role
We are seeking experienced and qualified guides to join our reputable Guide Training School in Limpopo as Head and Assistant Instructors. The successful candidates will provide academic leadership, operational oversight, and hands-on instruction to ensure the consistent delivery of accredited programmes aligned with relevant South African regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic leadership and operational oversight within a professional field guide training camp
- Ensure high training standards, safety, and an engaging learning environment
- Facilitate practical field instruction, assist with academic delivery and assessments, and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the training camp
- Mentor junior instructors and support structured, accredited training programmes
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years professional guiding experience within Southern Africa
- Valid Professional Field and Trails Guide qualification and registration (FGASA-aligned)
- Proven experience delivering training and assessments in a field-based environment
- Experience working within high-end safari or conservation operations
- One or more of the following: NQF Level 4 Nature Guide, FGASA Professional Field and Trails Guide, VPDA qualification, Current Advanced Rifle Handling certificate
Qualifications
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
