Job Description
About the Role
Afritech Fire is seeking an experienced SANS 1475 Part1 & 2 Technician to join our team in Louis Trichardt. As a key member of our fire detection systems team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective installation, testing, and maintenance of our detection systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of fire detection systems
- Testing and validation of system components
- Maintenance and repair of existing systems
- Collaboration with team members to ensure seamless system operation
Requirements
- Knowledge of fire detection systems
- Experience with installation, testing, and maintenance
- Understanding of relevant regulations (SANS, NFPA, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Formal education in a relevant field (e.g. electrical engineering, mechanical engineering)
- Relevant certifications or training in fire detection systems
