About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the profitability of the Parts Department, meeting manufacturer and dealership targets, and maintaining strict control over inventory. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a clear understanding of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor stock levels daily to ensure relevant manufacturer stock levels are maintained.
- Manage cash outstanding on a daily basis.
- Manage and actively clear out aged stock.
- Conduct stock takes on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
- Ensure Parts Sales Target and Profitability are met.
- Ensure Customer Satisfaction.
- Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies.
- Manage Team for High Performance Culture.
- Visit distributors, fleet owners, trade outlets, and shops to sell parts and accessories.
- Ensure all exchange items are returned.
- Ensure company discount structure is properly applied.
- Care for company property and ensure economic use of resources (e.g. car/delivery van).
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate
- Minimum of 1 year managerial experience
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ parts experience
