About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a 40 roomed hotel with restaurant and conferencing facilities, catering for up to 200 guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing a kitchen team and creating innovative menu plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage kitchen staff and ensure efficient service delivery
• Plan and execute menus, including plating and presentation
• Oversee storerooms and fridges, placing stock orders and conducting regular stock takes
• Utilize Excel for effective stock control
• Maintain a stable track record of performance

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Culinary Arts or related field
• Minimum 3 years experience as Executive Chef in 4* hotels with over 40 rooms
• Good kitchen organisational skills and ability to manage staff effectively
• Creative approach to menu planning and kitchen organisation
• Ability to use Excel for stock control
