About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Malelane. As a seasoned professional with proven track record of maintaining and repairing tractors, TLBs, graders, forklifts, HINO, TATA, UD trucks, and other diesel-powered machinery, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, and repair diesel-powered vehicles and equipment
- Identify and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and inspections
- Conduct routine servicing in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and resolve breakdowns efficiently to minimise downtime
- Ensure all repairs are completed safely and to a high standard
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years proven experience maintaining and repairing tractors, specifically John Deere, Landini, and New Holland
- Minimum 5 years experience working on TLB, graders, and Matriarch machinery
- Minimum 5 years experience maintaining and repairing HINO, TATA, and UD trucks, as well as forklifts
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and hydraulics
- Proven ability to diagnose faults accurately and carry out repairs independently
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Own reliable transport
