Job Summary
Requirements:
Grade 12/ Senior Certificate A certificate in Hospitality would be advantageous At least a 5 years experience as a Reservations Manager in a 4 star environment Able to take the lead and head up the Reservations department Strong reservations and booking conversion rate Good computer skills and a be a system super user Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to grow existing business and have excellent client relation skills A dynamic individual who can chase new business and growth opportunities Must have excellent organizational skills and experience in forecasting, analyzing and reporting Must be a professional, well presented individual and have an enthusiastic personality Must have excellent written & oral communication skills Work well with people and be able to mentor, train and develop team members This is a live out position

Job Summary
Duties:
Oversee hotel, restaurant & events bookings process, ensuring efficient operations, maximizing revenue, and providing excellent customer service. Manage the reservations team, handle inquiries, and implement strategies to optimize occupancy and rates. Supervise and handle all local and overseas room-bookings. Ensure that all reservation requests are replied efficiently. Handle specific requests on room types and discounts. Supervise and train subordinates. Evaluate reservations team and report their progress to superior. Ensure all reservations are entered and updated in the computer. Answer correspondences, e-mails for reservations within 24 hours Prepare monthly operations report to General Manager Direct all allocation of rooms. Ensure that the statistic information is entered and updated in the reservations system. Control room inventory Respond promptly on the overbooking situation, close reservation for critical days and inform associates of situations. Help in the review of work methods and procedures in reservations. Solve complaints from clients in regard to reservations and take immediate remedy action. Follow all systems and procedures. The compilation and updating of the SOPs of the reservation department. Monitor and update internet reservation. Make annual training plan for the department with action plan. Make the business plan for the department to achieve the targets. Conduct departmental training. Implement and support all Hotels initiatives.
Requirements:
Grade 12 Diploma/Degree in the relevant field from a recognized institute Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar position Strong skillset reservations and booking conversion management Ability to manage a team Ability to grow the existing business and client relations Dynamic in chasing new opportunities System superuser Forecasting, analysing and reporting on business performance
