Job Title: Warranty Clerk
Employer: Unspecified Location Middelburg
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company’s Safe Work and ISO procedures are maintained. This includes maintaining quality standards in their area of responsibility and providing feedback on cost-saving initiatives.
Responsibilities will include:
Complying with work rules, standards, and methods
Minimising waste and obtaining accurate information to capture data effectively
Filing documents as per procedure
Checking serial numbers on Global E for warranty periods and confirming or declining requests
Opening and closing warranty jobs, attaching orders and warranty details
Issuing parts numbers for spare parts to foremen
Capturing warranty details in the warranty control log
Receiving labour reports from foremen, capturing labour and travel in D365
Creating FIRs (First Incident Reports) based on photos received from artisans and capturing them in Global-E
Attending to any questions or queries regarding FIR
Processing warranty claims, logging details on the warranty control log, and adding to job packs
Closing jobs and sharing files with costing clerks
Implementing and coordinating special projects as required
Requirements:
We are seeking a South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34 who has not previously participated in this programme. The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12 Certificate in Supply Chain/Logistics/Finance or a related field.
Basic financial transaction experience, time management skills, and ability to meet deadlines are also essential. Verbal and written communication skills, strong organisational skills, problem-solving abilities, proactivity, self-direction, interpersonal skills, and intermediate-level proficiency in MS Office are required.
Additionally, the candidate must be medically fit to work in this specific business area with a clear security screening record.
