Job Description
- Develop and implement a comprehensive enhanced onboarding program to accelerate new employees’ engagement and productivity, ensuring alignment with company culture and goals
- Perform detailed skills gap analyses in collaboration with department leaders to identify capability needs and recommend appropriate learning solutions
- Design, coordinate, and support mentorship programs that promote knowledge transfer, career development, and retention of high-potential talent
- Lead the Train-the-Trainer rollout by preparing internal trainers with effective facilitation techniques, content mastery, and adult learning principles
- Collaborate with HR business partners and department managers to align training initiatives with performance management and succession planning
- Monitor, evaluate, and report training impact using quantitative and qualitative metrics to drive continuous program enhancement
- Maintain and update training materials, manuals, and digital resources to ensure currency and accessibility
- Champion a learning culture by promoting engagement and uptake of development opportunities across the organization
- Coordinate logistics and resources for training sessions, workshops, and development events
Performance Metrics:
- Reduction in new hire time-to-productivity through enhanced onboarding programs
- Improvement in skill proficiency levels identified from skills gap analyses pre- and post-interventions
- Participation and satisfaction rates of mentorship and Train-the-Trainer programs
- Percentage of internal trainers certified through the Train-the-Trainer rollout
- Measurable increases in employee engagement scores related to learning and development
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Education, Industrial Psychology, or related field
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in training, learning, and development, ideally in the automotive sector
- Proven expertise in onboarding program design, skills gap analysis, mentorship program implementation, and Train-the-Trainer initiatives
- Strong understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design, and effective facilitation methods
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and training tools
- Automotive OEM Industry experience is essential
