Job Summary

FORMAL EDUCATION: Grade 12 Relevant tertiary education with IT (e.g computer related field) A business-related qualification would be advantageous EXPERIENCE: Change & Incident management experience. Minimum 5 years management experience in overseeing and managing performance, availability, reliability and serviceability of ICT services across multiple regions and customers on a 24×7 basis, in accordance with international best practices. Minimum of 5-6 years` experience in information security (security operations with onsite security projects and direct audit exposure). Significant experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP): perennial experience in IT-security management and direct experience in dealing with client engagements Experience in dealing with relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Experience in conducting Information Security and/or IT Audits/assessments for large companies. Experience in working with internal and external audits and remediating Information Security/IT audits for large companies. Solid knowledge of network management and network techniques. Solid experience in system management in the client-server and host-based computing area. Experience in the operation of computer centres. Strong experience in project management required. Knowledge and experience in implementing security metrics. TECHNICAL / LEGAL CERTIFICATION Internationally recognized Security Certifications e.g. CISM/CISSP/CISA/ISO 27001 LA/etc. ISO 27001/2, PCI DSS, COBIT and ITGI (IT Governance Institute) frameworks/standards RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan, develop, manage and report on the scope of contracted services within time, quality and cost. Accountable for ensuring that all contracted security services for the client are delivered as expected. Responsible for the definition of the quality and quantity of the security services provided to the client together with the Service Delivery Managers. Responsible for coordinating information security deliverables for the client and for escalation management for such services. Provide detailed analysis and generate security reports depicting the client security posture and provide advice for improvement. Coordinate client information security incidents (P1 and P2 incidents). Responsible to ensure that security KPIs are delivered by security operational staff, partners, vendors and suppliers for the client. Actively participate in client initiated and internal audits/assessments ensuring that findings are addressed or mitigated as required. Provide support to Service Delivery Managers with regard to technical solutions and cost optimisation. Plan, develop and implement measures, in consultation with Service Delivery Management, to improve efficiency of service delivery to the client. Provide regular communication with Service Delivery Management regarding performance, quality and cost. Provision of pro-active advice, new solutions, technologies and additional service suggestions to client. Participate in the sales process for the client in order to reach joint agreement and buy-in for new services. Actively drive the transition of client specific toolsets in line with Gijima processes and procedures. Work closely with the Head of Security for guidance and escalations and with other relevant Gijima security functions to ensure optimal delivery of services and utilisation of employees. Monitor global and local trends with respect to information security topics and the clients environment. Actively participate in client forums and technical meetings and run security related workshops where applicable.
