Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare monthly management accounts, journals, reconciliations, and reporting packs
– Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with audit and statutory requirements
– Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
– Perform cost analysis and support operational teams with financial insights
– Drive process improvements and assist with system optimisation

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:
– BCom Accounting / BCom Finance (essential)
Experience:
5- 7 years’ experience as a Financial Accountant in a manufacturing environment
– Strong exposure to costing, stock, and plant operations (advantageous)
– Experience with ERP systems and management reporting
– Ability to work in a fast-paced, plant-driven environment
Skills:
– Advanced Excel skills
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
– High attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets
– Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Non-Negotiables:
– BCom degree
– Experience in manufacturing or similar operational environment
