This is not a box-ticking finance role. We’re working with a fast-growing multinational in the pharmaceutical space where finance is expected to think, challenge, partner and deliver. Key Responsibilities
- Full ownership and deep analysis of brand P&Ls, including revenue, COGS, inventory write-offs, and marketing and selling expenses
- Accurate and timely month-end reporting and variance analysis against budget and forecast
- Driving the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes end-to-end
- Accruals, provisions, transfer pricing and intercompany margin calculations
- Inventory provision analysis and risk communication with commercial teams
- Strong business partnering with Commercial and Operational Finance teams
- Audit support, HQ reporting, ad-hoc analysis, and senior-level presentations
- Maintenance and improvement of budgeting, reporting tools, and financial models
Requirements
- CA(SA) or CIMA (completed)
- Minimum 5 years post-articles experience in a multinational environment (pharma or FMCG preferred)
- Solid inventory management experience
- Advanced Excel and strong financial modelling capability
- Commercially minded, analytically strong, and detail-oriented
- Confident communicator who can partner, challenge, and influence
- Deadline-driven, organised, and able to manage competing priorities
Qualifications
- CA(SA) or CIMA certification
