Duties & Responsibilities • Measuring of quantities off plans. • Conducting measurement checks, re-measuring on site. • Recording of information on plant, equipment, staff, materials, labour and consumables. • Prepare cost reports for each site. • Monitor material usage for each site. • Monitor measurements for each site • Ensure quality of installation is of high standard • Draw up weekly programmes for each Cape Town based site. • Ensure weekly programmes are on track. • Ensure sign offs are completed. • Ensure project deadlines are met. • Attend all required meetings. • Any other activity reasonably anticipated within the course of a project quantity surveyors duties. • Liaise with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors. • Prepare reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment etc. • .Keep track of materials and order more when required. • Travel from the office to various sites as required.
