About the Role
A leading company in the technology and telecommunications sector is seeking a highly capable Senior Data Analyst to join their South African team. This organisation provides internet and WiFi solutions to households, SMEs, and underserved communities nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end analytics workflow, from data extraction to insight delivery.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to support operational and strategic teams.
- Clean, structure, and maintain datasets for accuracy and reliability.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in user behaviour, network performance, and business operations.
- Provide actionable insights to leadership to support decision-making across technical, commercial, and field-operations teams.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, sales, and network support teams.
- Ensure high data quality standards and implement improvements where needed.
- Support ad-hoc data requests and business intelligence needs.
Requirements
- 35 years experience as a Data Analyst or Senior Data Analyst.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision (hit the ground running).
- Advanced SQL experience.
- Experience with BI/visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and storytelling skills.
- Experience working in technology, telecoms, or a high-growth environment is beneficial.
- Experience working with large datasets and relational databases.

Salary & Benefits
Salary CTC: R650,000 – R800,000 per annum. 18 days annual leave. Additional benefits: Group Life Cover & Provident Fund. Bonus/variable structure: Performance related. Medical aid/group benefits: Discovery Flexicare.
