Job Summary
A global leader in consumer electronics and home appliances, is seeking a Treasury Assistant to join our dynamic Finance team. This is your opportunity to grow with an industry leader and contribute to the financial health and efficiency of a global brand.
As the Treasury Assistant you will responsible for the following:
Treasury Management:
- Daily bank reconciliations and timely transaction processing
- Maintain accurate banking records and user access
- Ensure month-end bank closure and error-free transactions
- Support cash flow forecasting and forex reporting
- Liaise with banking institutions and assist with SARB applications
- Prepare monthly reconciliations and audit reports
External Audit Support:
- Act as key contact for external auditors
- Prepare requested documentation and resolve audit queries
Tax & Statutory Compliance:
- Assist in tax calculations and statutory submissions
- Support the Tax Specialist in company secretarial and tax matters
- Address tax-related issues to minimize business risk
Month-End Closing:
- Prepare journal entries for review
- Ensure accurate SG&A recording and month-end clearing
Corporate Card Administration:
- Manage corporate card system and support employees with limits and queries
Balance Sheet Reconciliations:
- Investigate account entries and submit reconciliations by deadline
Reporting:
- Support monthly and ad-hoc reporting for CFO, Finance Manager, HQ, RHQ, and Auditors
Job Experience and Skills Required:
BCom in Accounting or Financial Management
SAIPA/SAICA/CIMA qualification is an added advantage
Minimum 3 years of experience in account reconciliation
Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office Suite proficiency
Strong analytical and financial skills
