About the Role
As a UI Frontend Developer at E-Merge, you will play a crucial role in transforming and embracing diversity in the Financial Services Sector. Your primary responsibility will be to create interactive applications that enhance customer experience with our brand and facilitate an enjoyable experience on our website or platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Create interactive applications using Angular, React, HTML, and other JavaScript frameworks
- Collaborate with the UX Designer to ensure optimal user experience
- Write smoke tests inclusive of UI Automation frameworks
- Setup underlying frameworks from scratch to enable good software engineering discipline with the team
- Troubleshoot and analyse websites using JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, and comparable languages
Requirements
- B. Com Informatics/B. Engineering/ B.Sc.
- 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UI development
- Experience in writing smoke tests inclusive of UI Automation frameworks
- Proficient in at least 1 of the top JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, etc)
- Detailed experience with coding and the ability to troubleshoot and analyse websites using JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, and comparable languages
Qualifications
- B. Com Informatics/B. Engineering/ B.Sc.
- Relevant formal education or certification is an asset
Salary & Benefits
A cost-to-company salary of R850k per annum, negotiable on experience and ability.
