About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Guest Relations Officer to join our team at Craven Cottage CC. As a key member of our front-of-house operations, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless service delivery across all areas of our luxury hotel/lodge.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage guest relations and resolve complaints in a professional and courteous manner
- Implement up-sell and cross-sell strategies to enhance guest experience and increase revenue
- Utilize property management systems to manage guest information, room assignments, and other operational tasks
- Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure smooth service delivery
- Anticipate and meet the needs of guests through creative problem-solving and attention to detail
- Maintain high levels of confidentiality and protect sensitive information at all times
Requirements
Certificate / Diploma in Hospitality or equivalent
Background in Front of House Service of a luxury hotel / Lodge
At least 2 years of previous experience in hospitality Front of House operations of a luxury 5* hotel / Lodge
Proficient in use of various well-known Property Management systems
Proficient in the application of Up-Sell and Cross-Sell strategies
Proficient user of Microsoft Office software applications
Conversant with specialist terminology
Ability to deal with guest complaints
Ability to anticipate circumstances, conditions and requests and use these scenarios to plan for the future
Ability to anticipate Guest needs and think up creative ways to meet these needs
Ability to correctly communicate detailed information to others
Operates comfortably in an environment of high levels of ambiguity
Ability to recognise safety or security concerns
High degree of confidentiality and protection of sensitive information
