Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented High Court Legal Secretary with 3 to 5 years of recent litigation experience within a busy law firm setting. Proven ability to provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to attorneys, managing all phases of the litigation lifecycle from inception to trial. – Managing High Court and Magistrates’ Court litigation processes, including issuing, serving, and filing of documents on Court Online and Case Lines (Training is available). – Preparing and indexing briefs, trial bundles, and appeal records for counsel. – Maintaining and organising both physical and electronic filing systems. – Diary management, scheduling court dates. – Liaising professionally with clients, counsel, sheriffs. – Managing deadlines and ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures. – Managing client files, including file indexing and proper record-keeping. – Assisting with general office administration where required. – Handling billing support, timesheets. – Confidential record keeping and maintaining client trust.
