• South African Citizen
• Grade 12
• Qualification in Logistics/ Supply Chain Management will be advantageous
• Computer Literacy (MS Office, EXCEL intermediate, SYSPRO)
• 3-5 years work experience in a store-/stock management/warehouse/procurement environment of which 3 years must on supervisory level
• Proven operational experience in store/stock management and procurement essential
• Valid Driver’s License
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as and when required
• Technical knowledge of Maintenance buying
• Strong relationship building skills

Physical and Environmental requirements:
Incumbent must be able to remain in a standing position for extended periods of time
Work in a variety of environmental conditions with exposure to the heat & dust elements
Move heavy objects with proper equipment

Key performance areas (inclusive but not limited to):

• General store & people management
• Process and capture data on SYSPRO
• Procure, receipt, issue and dispatch raw materials, supplies and products to relevant plants
• Inspect incoming deliveries (quantity and quality) and report damages, abnormalities and variances Execute stock inventory, accuracy levels and logistics (storage and distribution of goods)
• Assess stock supply and reorder status
• Maintain high level of discipline to accurately succeed in daily tasks
• Manage imported stock systems and procedure (rebate store)

Knowledge, skills and competencies:

• Working knowledge of inventory/stock control & procurement principles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Afrikaans)
