Job Summary
The work is well-suited to mechanically minded tradespeople who are comfortable with routine, hands-on tasks and take pride in doing the job properly each time. The role closely aligns with the responsibilities of a Mechanical Engineering Technician , involving calibration, diagnostics, servicing, and quality checks. Your responsibilities: Deliver calibration services on-site, including travel across QLD and interstate Carry out servicing, diagnostics and minor repairs on mechanical equipment Calibrate a range of industrial tools, instruments, and workshop equipment Maintain detailed calibration and service records Communicate with clients and ensure their compliance needs are met Support continuous improvement and safety initiatives What youll need: A mechanical trade background (e.g. fitter, mechanic, diesel technician, etc.) Ability to travel extensively (interstate and remote) Willingness to work a 16:12 roster HR (Heavy Rigid) license or ability to obtain one Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Good computer literacy Clear communication skills and a customer-first mindset Ability to pass regular medical, drug and alcohol screening Strong English language skills, both written and spoken Full Australian working rights
