Job Summary

Financial Data Capturer position: Accurately processing data from various sources into the company’s systems, ensuring data integrity and facilitating efficient project management. This role involves capturing data from paper documents, electronic files, and other sources, verifying its accuracy, and updating databases as needed. Key Responsibilities: Data Entry: Accurately inputting data from various sources (e.g., invoices, contracts, project documentation) into computer systems, databases, or spreadsheets. Data Verification: Reviewing entered data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, identifying and correcting errors. Data Maintenance: Updating and correcting existing data to ensure it remains current and accurate. Record Keeping: Organizing and storing documents, both physical and digital, for easy retrieval and reference. Reporting: Generating reports based on captured data to track progress, identify issues, and provide insights. Data Cleaning and Validation: Identifying and addressing inconsistencies or errors in the data, ensuring its quality. Collaboration: Working with other team members and departments to ensure data is captured and managed effectively. Skills and Qualifications: Technical Skills: Strong typing speed and accuracy, proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), and familiarity with relevant industry software will be an advantage. Analytical Skills: Ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, and missing data. Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain accurate records, organize files, and prioritize tasks. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and other departments. Attention to Detail: Accuracy and meticulousness in data entry and verification. Experience: Previous experience in data entry, data capturing, or related roles, particularly in construction or a similar industry.
