Employer Description This is a PQS firm. Job Description Your responsibilities will be the following: Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, and other resources Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase, ensuring they stay within the allocated budget. Measures to control costs, identify potential cost overruns, and propose solutions to mitigate financial risks. Prepare tender documents, manage the tendering process, and select subcontractors and suppliers. Assess the value of work completed and manage payment schedules to ensure contractors and suppliers are paid on time. Administer construction contracts, ensuring all parties adhere to their obligations. Negotiate contract terms with clients, contractors, and subcontractors. Resolving disputes related to construction contracts. Identify and assess potential risks associated with a project Monthly project reporting and payment valuations compiling bills of quantities. Taking off measuring off drawings projects final account review and compilation. Compiling tender documents. Tender valuations office administration. Qualifications Matric BSc/BTech/ND in Quantity Surveying SACQSP Registered Skills Minimum 3 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor Proficient in WinQS Proficient in DimX Benefits To be confirmed at interview stage
