About the Role
The General Foreman will be responsible for overseeing the construction of multi-storey concrete structures, setting out and vertical controls of high-rise buildings, and ensuring quality control across all wet trades. This role requires a strong understanding of specialist trades, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage projects from foundation to key handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Take projects from foundation to key handover
- Monitor safety and compliance on-site according to OHS Act and Company Safety Standards
- Coordinate plant and equipment
- Compile short-term programs to ensure the project stays on track according to the construction program
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience post-Matric industry qualifications, certificates, and NQF-related training (building/construction)
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans (additional ethnic languages advantageous)
