About the Role
We are partnering with an exclusive, intimate safari lodge in Mpumalanga to recruit a charismatic and experienced Lodge Manager. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role suited to a hospitality professional with a strong background in five-star lodge or hotel operations, who is passionate about service excellence, team development, and creating highly personalised guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the lodge, ensuring seamless guest experiences
- Lead by example, communicating effectively across departments
- Deliver an exceptional at-home experience for guests
- Maintain high standards across guest relations, staff engagement, housekeeping, maintenance, and financial controls
Requirements
- Proven experience managing a luxury lodge with a minimum of six years experience including senior management responsibility
- Strong guest focus, with the ability to create memorable, personalised guest experiences aligned to world-class service standards
- Sound people management skills, including staff recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and ongoing development
Qualifications
- Proven track record in luxury lodge operations (no specific degree required)
