About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Butler to join our team at Craven Cottage CC, where you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service experiences in our camp. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be expected to provide high-quality service, interact with guests, and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall guest service experience in the camp, ensuring that high standards are maintained
- Provide full-service functionality to guests; ensuring you are present for all mealtimes until guests are finished
- Be accountable for all service-related stock consumption and stock takes, including service-related items such as cutlery & crockery
- Interact with guests and ensure you collect all personal preferences and relevant information, using this to tailor make their experience
- Provide feedback to relevant management on any issues noticed by yourself or the guests
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Formal butler / hospitality qualifications
- Experience in a senior butler role with responsibilities such as stock takes, ordering, staff management, etc.
- Well spoken, organised, and able to work under pressure
- Good understanding of 5-star establishments
- Knowledge of the highest level of F&B customer service in a luxury environment
- Sound wine, cocktail, food knowledge preferred
- Sound knowledge when it comes to dietary requirements/preferences
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
Formal education/certifications (e.g. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) are not required for this role.
