Job Summary
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric
- Diploma or equivalent
- Packhouse experience will be advantageous.
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and numerical abilities are crucial.
- Excellent knowledge and computer skills (MS Office)
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Effective handling of detailed information and consistent attention to detail
- Must be a team player.
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.
- Must be able to work well under pressure.
- Able to work shifts
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY AREAS
- Responsible for the capturing and reconciling of accurate records on the maintenance system, Job cards and task lists daily
- Ensuring all delivery notes/receipt or notes are processed accordingly on the system (GRN) Ordering of all tools, parts or consumables for the workshop
- Requesting quotations from all suppliers
- Ensuring the spare parts system is being managed and updated daily, and purchased list is up to date.
- Accuracy and timely capturing of data and maintaining smooth operations with adequate levels of stock available.
- Asset pool
- Filing & Administration
- Report writing
- Conducting weekly and monthly stock takes
- Capturing of diesel and paraffin usage
- Maintaining maintenance store
