Job Summary: The Office Automation Print Service Mid Management Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the print services department within the office automation framework. This role involves managing a team responsible for providing efficient and high-quality print and document services, ensuring optimal utilization of print resources, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise, lead, and motivate a team of print service professionals.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Print Service Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of print service operations.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for efficient print service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Resource Management:
- Manage print resources, including printers, copiers, and related equipment, to ensure optimal functionality.
- Monitor and control print supply inventory, ordering supplies as needed to maintain smooth operations.
- Collaborate with procurement to evaluate and select vendors for print-related services.
- Quality Assurance:
- Establish and enforce quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and consistency of printed materials.
- Conduct regular quality checks on printed documents to identify and address any issues promptly.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of print services.
- Technology Integration:
- Stay abreast of advancements in print and document management technologies.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate print services into the overall office automation infrastructure.
- Client Communication:
- Interact with internal departments and external clients to understand their print service needs.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels to address client inquiries and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement customized print solutions based on specific requirements.
- Budget Oversight:
- Assist in the development of the department budget, considering equipment maintenance, supplies, and staffing needs.
- Monitor expenditures to ensure adherence to the budget and implement cost-saving measures when possible.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate regular reports on print service performance, including key metrics and KPIs.
- Analyse data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in print service management or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with office automation systems and print technologies.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
