Key Responsibilities
- Ensure guests receive world-class service, award-winning cuisine, memorable experiences at our conference & events, room service, bars, restaurants, and lounge.
- Assist in managing the kitchen, ensuring culinary service standards are met.
- Manage staff’s performance and conduct, contribute to planning of food menu offerings including costings, estimate food consumption & requisition or purchase food.
- Ensure kitchen stations are prepped, stocked, and run efficiently during service.
- Monitor and maintain guest experience by ensuring personalised attention and experiences every time.
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring smooth operation of the pastry kitchen and maintaining highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation across all kitchen areas.
- Oversee inventory, ordering supplies, and managing the pastry department’s budget efficiently.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and training for all kitchen staff to foster their growth.
- Ensure food handling and cleanliness procedures comply with health and safety regulations in absence of Sous Chef.
- Uphold our reputation for exceptional food through consistency, presentation, and creativity.
