About the Role

A new position as Head Butcher has become available with our leading hospitality group at their production kitchen based in Johannesburg, where you will lead the butchery division of a busy high-end production facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily production in a fast-paced butchery
  • Oversee preparation, storage & quality control
  • Train, mentor, & supervise the butchery team
  • Manage ordering, stock control, & waste reduction
  • Maintain food safety & hygiene standards

Requirements

  • SA national or valid work permit
  • Proven experience as a Head Butcher in a production environment
  • Strong knowledge of premium meats including game
  • Excellent leadership & organisational skills
  • Ability to work early mornings
