Job Summary

? Key Responsibilities
Operational Management of Property and Facilities

• Oversee building and grounds maintenance to ensure optimal conditions.
• Manage third-party service providers and contractors.
• Conduct regular property inspections, handovers, and walkabouts.
• Ensure compliance with OHS standards and all relevant policies.
• Manage reactive and planned maintenance via MyBuildings, PIMS, and Rise systems.

Student Management

• Engage with students to address needs, queries, and evaluations.
• Oversee application processes, intake procedures, and vacate processes.
• Ensure compliance with housing rules and address student misconduct.
• Collaborate with the Student Life Officer (SLO) on student events and programs.

Financial and Administrative Oversight

• Assist with budget management and expense tracking.
• Compile and present monthly management reports.
• Manage access control and maintain asset registers.

Student Liaison and Support

• Mentor students and foster positive relationships.
• Address student complaints in collaboration with the SLO.
• Handle administrative duties, including signage, filing, and audits.

Student Intake Coordination

• Lead team efforts for inspections and readiness during intake periods.
• Oversee maintenance resolution and assign duties to Promoters/Interns.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of property management experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Student Accommodation Expertise: Experience in student accommodation management is essential.
• Skills and Knowledge:
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Thorough understanding of property management and student accommodation procedures.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, service contracts, and leasing agreements.
• Attributes:
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a commitment to service excellence.
