About the Role
The Northern Cape: Site Manager position at African Mining and Crushing SA Ltd is a critical role that requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee daily operations, ensure project completion on time and within budget, and maintain compliance across the work site. As the point of contact for clients, you will be responsible for liaising between employees and management, enforcing workplace policies and procedures, and coordinating training and professional development activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely completion of projects
- Oversee daily operations to achieve project goals
- Coordinate employee schedules for adequate coverage
- Enforce all workplace policies and procedures
- Coordinate training and professional development activities for employees
- Conduct staff performance reviews
- Maintain and adhere to departmental budget
- Address and report safety concerns in a timely manner
- Track and monitors project progress, adhering to prearranged standards-client
- Prepare and submits progress reports
- Mediate on-site conflicts
- Coordinate and supervise workers
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years production management experience
- Competency 2.6.1 certificate according to Mines Health & Safety
- Valid Drivers License
- Opencast blasting certificate
- Legal Liability Certificate
- Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Certificate
- ICAM Certificate (Beneficial but not required)
- HR related experience in Leave management, Time and Attendance, IR, etc.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 Relevant Qualification will be beneficial
