About the Role
African Mining and Crushing SA Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team in the Northern Cape. As the point of contact for clients, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. You will also oversee daily operations, coordinate employee schedules, and enforce all workplace policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with employees and management to ensure effective communication
- Oversee daily operations to achieve project goals and targets
- Coordinate employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage
- Enforce all workplace policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Conduct staff performance reviews and provide feedback
- Maintain and adhere to departmental budget
- Address and report safety concerns in a timely manner
- Track and monitors project progress, adhering to prearranged standards-client
- Ensure compliance across the work site
- Answer inquiries from potential projects partners
- Mediate on-site conflicts
- Prepare and submit progress reports
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years production management experience
- Competency 2.6.1 certificate according to Mines Health & Safety
- Valid Drivers License
- Opencast blasting certificate
- Legal Liability Certificate
- Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Certificate
- ICAM Certificate (beneficial but not required)
- HR related experience
Qualifications
- Grade 12 Relevant Qualification will be beneficial (if applicable)
