About the Role

Hire Resolve is excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled Construction Foreman to join our client’s team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, a detailed understanding of construction processes, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily construction operations and ensure their alignment with project goals
  • Direct and manage construction workers, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on-site
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to stay on schedule
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or in a similar supervisory role
  • High-rise buildings, medical projects or life environment experience
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency in construction management software
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
