About the Role
We are currently partnering with an award-winning, ultra-luxury boutique lodge in the Western Cape to recruit an experienced and highly guest-centric Assistant Lodge Manager to join their exceptional team. This exclusive property is internationally recognised for its refined hospitality, breathtaking natural surroundings, and immersive guest experiences that celebrate the region’s remarkable biodiversity and coastal landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest service and ensure a memorable experience for individual guests
- Lead and inspire a service-driven team within a high-end lodge environment
- Oversee daily operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and F&B services
- Maintain high standards of quality and consistency in all aspects of lodge operations
- Collaborate with management to achieve business objectives and improve guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality or equivalent preferred
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a high-end Lodge or hotel environment
- Knowledgeable on HR policies and procedures
- Good understanding of F&B operations
- Highly presentable with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license is essential
