Job Description

Minimum Qualifications & Experience BCom Honours degree (essential) Completed Articles (SAICA / SAIPA) highly advantageous CA(SA) preferred Minimum of 5 years post-articles experience Background within Hospitality, Private Wealth, Investment Structures, or Professional Services environments Candidates with experience managing high-touch, service-oriented environments alongside strong financial oversight will be particularly well suited to this opportunity. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage the daily operational and financial affairs of the Family Office Act as shareholder representative at selected board and investment meetings Monitor investment performance, financial reporting, and governance processes Liaise with asset managers, auditors, bankers, legal advisors, and external consultants Coordinate and manage various Family Office business activities and strategic initiatives Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports Travel locally (24 times per year) and internationally (12 times per year), as required Skills & Competencies Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret and interrogate financial statements Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail High level of discretion, diplomacy, and emotional intelligence Professional communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to manage multiple stakeholders with confidence and composure Solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving capability Personal Profile Highly presentable, articulate, and professional Calm, composed, and confident in high-level engagements Naturally relationship-oriented with strong interpersonal sensitivity Detail-focused with a structured and methodical working style Able to operate independently while maintaining collaborative relationships This role offers a unique opportunity to operate at an executive level within a private investment environment that values professionalism, loyalty, and long-term relationship building.
