Job Description
- Minimum 5 years experience in the stone fruit industry.
- Proven experience in stone fruit procurement, trading, or product management.
- Strong knowledge of stone fruit varieties, seasonality, and quality standards.
- Strong negotiation, sales, and relationship management skills.
- Existing network of stone fruit growers and industry contacts (advantage)
- Experience supplying retailers or export markets (advantage)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Procure stone fruit from growers and manage supplier relationships.
- Develop and manage stone fruit sales programs and customer relationships.
- Monitor crop forecasts, seasonal supply, and market pricing.
- Coordinate with packhouses and logistics partners to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
- Identify and develop new market opportunities.
- Manage product margins and overall commercial performance.
