Job Summary
REQUIREMENTS:
- Min 5 years administrative and reception experience
- Mac computer experience advantageous
- Experience working in a busy Administration and Reception role
- Excellent communication skills, English and Afrikaans
- Friendly and kind communication skills
- Ability to liaise easily with patients and look after their needs
DUTIES:
- Answering incoming calls for the practice
- Managing the Doctors diary and scheduling of meetings
- Setting up appointments for patients
- Attending immediately to the Doctors urgent requests & requirements
- Dealing with enquiries from patients and problem-solving when needed
- Assisting patients with settlement and payment of their accounts
- Notifying patients when their medication has arrived
- Handling petty cash
- Working as part of a team with the other staff in a busy practice
- Typing of correspondence
- All ad-hoc duties pertaining to the administration running of the practice
- General administration duties
