About the Role
Forge the future of metallurgy in the heart of mining as the Senior Metallurgy Manager, where you’ll lead a cutting-edge journey of transformation, turning raw ore into a symphony of refined brilliance. Our client in the mining industry is looking for a Senior Metallurgy Manager to join their team based in Phalaborwa, Limpopo.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage metallurgical processes and projects
- Lead a team of metallurgists and process engineers
- Develop and implement new processing technologies
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- BEng degree in Processing or Extraction Metallurgy
- Honours degree or Masters degree in Extraction Metallogy or any related field would be advantageous
- Possession of an MDP Certificate
- 8-10 years in metallurgy and processing
- 5+ years in a similar management position
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Processing or Extraction Metallurgy
