About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team in Pietermaritzburg. As a key member of our audit department, you will be responsible for managing client portfolios from start to finish and overseeing accounting clients to ensure compliance with relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client portfolios from start to finish
  • Oversee accounting clients and ensure compliance with relevant standards
  • Handle various tax matters on behalf of clients
  • Plan and execute external audits
  • Lead and manage audit teams effectively
  • Review audit and accounting files for accuracy and compliance
  • Finalise audits for partner review
  • Liaise directly with clients to address queries and maintain relationships
  • Assess staff performance and oversee staff development initiatives

Requirements

  • CA(SA) qualification
  • Registered Auditor
  • Completed SAICA articles at a South African auditing practice
  • 24 years post-articles experience
