Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Audit Supervisor who is eligible to become a Certified Accountant (CA). The individual will be responsible for overseeing the audit process, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards, and providing guidance to junior audit staff. The Audit Supervisor will work closely with clients to understand their business operations, identify potential risks, and make recommendations for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
– Plan and coordinate audit engagements from start to finish
– Conduct risk assessments and develop audit plans
– Review financial statements and other relevant documentation
– Identify control weaknesses and areas for improvement
– Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to senior management
– Train and mentor junior audit staff
– Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry trends
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
– Eligibility to become a Certified Accountant (CA)
– Completed SAICA Articles, with around 1 Year Post-Articles Experience in Audit
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit software
