Pietermaritzburg: Housekeeper (Retail Environment)

Key Responsibilities: Clean and maintain store floors , including sweeping, mopping, and polishing Ensure all windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors are clean and streak-free Dust, wipe, and sanitize shelves, displays, and fixtures Maintain cleanliness of parking areas and outside premises Empty bins and ensure proper waste disposal in line with company standards Clean and sanitize high-touch areas regularly (e.g. door handles, counters) Report any maintenance issues or damages to management Ensure cleaning equipment is used correctly and stored safely Adhere to all health and safety regulations at all times. Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric) Minimum of 12 years housekeeping/cleaning experience within a retail environment Good understanding of cleaning procedures and products Physically fit and able to perform manual duties Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good time management and reliability.
