Job Summary

Job Purpose: Managing the branch in a profitable manner and in line with the companies Vison, Value, Purpose and Strategies. Ensuring that budgets and KPI’s are met. JOB SPECIFICATION: The main tasks and responsibilities associated with the position are listed below. This is not an exhaustive list of tasks and responsibilities and any other tasks and/or responsibilities that could be reasonably expected for the position may be required. JOB CONTEXT: Responsible for Pinetown: Provide a work environment that brings about positive energy, creativity and teamwork among employees, Set and maintain productivity and quality standards, Meet all budgetary targets and KPI’s as set by EXCO, Prepare and manage the business’s operating budget, Make effective decisions to help the company run smoothly, Generate income for the Branch and make sure operations are run cost effectively, Effective management of costs, Hiring, supervise and evaluate employees and their job performance, Maintain high level of administrative accuracy, Establish and maintain a healthy relationship with our customers, Provide customers with service that exceeds expectation, Directly oversee inventory of the branch and manage the warehouse, Ensure all customer projects run smoothly and most efficiently and that deadlines are met, Fleet control – done in line with the company Vehicle Policy and reporting platforms available, Ensure that you and your team conduct an accurate car stock take once a week, Continuous Training and development of staff, Implementation of and continuous adherence to company policies Working conditions: Mostly office based but travelling will be required. Note: Management and/or superiors may from time to time assign additional duties to you that must be carried out in a professional working manner. Management reserves the right to amend or alter this job description and the employee’s specific tasks, within the generally agreed appointment from time to time and can give any lawful instruction, according to the growing needs of the company. Qualifications & Experience: 1.Matric 2.Operations Management qualification. 3.4-6 years’ operations experience. 4.2-3 years’ administrative experience. Skills & Knowledge Required: 1.Attention to detail, 2.Punctual & Deadline orientated, 3.Problem solving skills, 4.Ability to manage own time effectively, 5.Good Telephone etiquette, 6.Intermediate proficiency in Ms. Office. Personal Attributes: Written Communication – The ability to express ideas clearly in memoranda, reports, letters or other documents with appropriate organization and structure, correct grammar and language and terminology that is adjusted to the characteristics and needs of the audience. Verbal Communication – The ability to express ideas effectively in individual or group situations (including non-verbal communication), adjusting language or terminology to the characteristics and needs of the audience. Leading Others – The ability to lead, motivate and empower others to reach organizational goals and to inspire others to work towards a desired future state. Conflict Management – The ability to effectively manage and resolve conflict situations in the workplace. Teamwork – A genuine intention to work cooperatively with others, to be part of a team, to work together as opposed to working separately or competitively. Business Acumen – The ability to understand the key business issues and relevant external factors impacting on the success of the organization.
